The causes of shareholder disputes can be manifold:

• different corporate goals,
• divergence of private and corporate interests,
• different priorities,
• communication failures, etc.

Such shareholder disputes regularly come to light when there is a need for agreement in the articles of association or necessary shareholder resolutions. However, disputes are not fundamentally harmful, but quite commonplace. Ideally, the parties involved will also find an amicable solution.

However, if the talks hit a snag, I moderate the discussion of the critical points up to strategies on how to avoid them in the future.
